Let It Go Creations

The ISTD based brief was to propose a new typographically based proposal for the book Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott; a novella written in 1884 about a square’s journey through the two-dimensional world of Flatland.

According to the laws of Flatland all the shapes have to be geometrically correct, such as triangles, squares, polygons and circles. The more sides you had as a shape, the higher up in society you were, with a circle being the highest ranked.

The book is extremely descriptive and so wanting to simplify the matter I created a logo based on the shapes of Flatland.
